Carl's Town House - Chillicothe

My daughter wanted to take me out for breakfast to celebrate Father's Day, so we decided to try something new and went to Carl's. We thought we had enough time to order and eat since we had just over an hour before we needed to be somewhere nearby. Unfortunately, we were mistaken. After placing our order, we waited for 40 minutes while the rude waitress ignored us. Eventually, I managed to flag down another waitress to check on our food. She returned with the news that it would be a few more minutes because they were still waiting on my daughter's waffle. We received our food just five minutes before we had to leave, making it impossible to eat. To be honest, the food wasn’t even worth eating—it would have been better to go to McDonald's. On a positive note, they didn’t charge us for the meal due to the long wait, but overall it was a terrible experience, and I won't be returning.

The best spot for burgers and breakfast in the Chillicothe area!

The food here is delicious, especially the burgers and shakes. However, I was quite disturbed by some hygiene practices I observed. I saw staff handling money and then food without washing their hands. There was also a moment when a server coughed into her hand and didn't wash it afterwards. Additionally, I noticed clean dishes that had fallen on the floor being placed back on the shelf. The presence of flies was also a significant issue. It's clear that the servers could benefit from better training in food safety practices. It's unfortunate, as I genuinely enjoy the food; I just wish I could overlook these concerns.
