Beijing Chinese Take-away - Colchester

Disappointing. Ordered for the last 10 years. Last 3 orders really going down hill. Time to move on. Not worth the additional cost. More expensive thane most Chinese but no better quality.

Having not used this Chinese for a while but having always been very happy with the quality, I cannot say how disappointed we were! We arrived 5 minutes early but the food was ready. Although we were only 5 minutes away from the takeaway when we got home it was already cold. The prawn toast was greasy and must have been prepared some time before and at £5 it was inedible and had to be thrown. The rest of the food was not much better, greasy and not cooked to a standard I would expect….. the whole meal was disappointing and we certainly will not be returning

We use the take away regularly, the food is always hot and delicious, we have had lots of different meals and enjoyed them all, very helpful, friendly staff, would recommend it to anyone

Have always used Beijing and over the years the food has been great however when you pay for food to be delivered and the driver comes to your door smoking a joint with your food next to it you have to question why they allow their employed drivers to do this and effectively spoil the food. I called immediately and spoke with a Chinese lady who told me the driver was Andy and that they can’t control what the drivers do and that they had discussed this in the past with drivers and that she would pass on my concerns to her manager and put the phone down. They seriously need to handle their complaints better and take action as food should not be spoiled by smoke and contravenes health and safety.

Don’t waste your money. Incorrect order and the food was disgusting. Couldn’t eat the chicken it was so tough and noodles tasted of oil
