Cavalariça

We had two dinners in cavalarica and loved it. the huh, the steak, and all the appetizers, and the gloomy we had were all fantastic. very dedicated and motivated service and very helpful in selecting the weins.

Considering how small comporta is, there are some decent restaurants, but this seems to be the only place to get more adventurous recipes and a large city hipster atmosphere. the evening began very pleasantly the most dishes we ordered (the... concept is to share and the portions are large enough) were very good. Unfortunately, the octopus court was unedible, as the otopus was so hard, you could hardly cut it with a knife, let alone chew. we almost left him untouched and told the waiter what the problem was. this was accepted without comment and followed a question to order dessert (which we rejected). the otopus of course was not removed from the bill. it is a thing if a customer simply does not like a cure, but here the court was unacceptable (either because of the low quality of the ingredient or cooking technique). I should add that if they sit on a bank in the cabin as compartment (as I did) the bank is narrow and the back rest is upright, which in combination is not very comfortable if they don't complain a small person (my wife).

Has not been disappointed. great menu. creative cooking and refined dishes. good wine card and our teenage children enjoyed the cocktails. I have to book. not cheap, but definitiw one boosted to other options. would definitely return.

Amazing food and service. The kale tempura and steak tartare are top class. Our waiter was Nacho and really nailed the dishes.
