McDonald's - Edson

Was a great place to stop. It was clean and very quick service. The staff was friendly but hard to understand

I have visited randomly since living here and I find the best service between 5-8am and 12-1pm. After that they are to busy socializing when I go through the drive they to stay focused. I've heard the employees talking through the window about stuff like how the bathrooms are always gross and all sorts of stuff. When they talk they always mess up my order and a lot of times won't greet you, just ignore you at the window. I went through one time at like 11pm one night and they literally left the window closed and made me sit there for approx 5 mins before someone opened the window and handed me my food when someone could have opened it and said my food will be a few mins. If they hadn't already taken my money at the first window I would have just driven away and left them to their business. I find that just greeting a customer is common curtesy, but I doubt management installs this into anybody there.

The service is quick when just coffee, but you still have to double check your order before leaving to make sure it is correct.

Out of 4 meals one was right. Ran out of drinks. And was rude about it. First and last time hope you guys improve. Washroom out of soap aswell

Haven't eaten food in a McDonald's for a long time, and then a few days ago we were looking for a coffee near the Super 8 at the Calgary airport and we tried the new (at least new to us)! bagel breakfast sandwich. We actually got a BLT bagel and added egg - pleasantly surprised and painless to modify the sandwich. Why am I talking about the McDonald's in Calgary for a Edson review? We stopped for a coffee in Edson on our way to Jasper and thought we'd order breakfast again. MISTAKE! Ordered a BLT with egg and was told it didn't come with egg. Asked if I could order it with an egg. Was told that if I wanted a bagel with egg, they had a bacon and egg bagel that they could add lettuce and tomato to if I wanted. Ok, let's do that then. Got a bagel that had egg, tomato, lettuce, and cheese - but mo bacon. I couldn't face talking to the friendly but not too bright girl at the counter. Decided to eat what I had. 3 bites in had to toss it - bagel was stale. I like the coffee and will continue to order coffee, but I'm swearing off the McD's food again - indefinitely!
