A K's Food Corner - El Cerrito

Whenever I'm really hungry at El Cerrito Del Norte, I can't resist grabbing a hot dog from here. At just $2.50, they're a fantastic deal you can't pass up. The hot dogs and buns are steamed, and while I usually prefer them grilled, I understand that it's a bart station. I typically go for a hot dog topped with mustard and onions, but sometimes I opt for everything except ketchup, which includes sauerkraut, onions, relish, mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. They offer a little bit of everything—hot dogs, microwave burritos, sodas, cup noodles, etc. Occasionally, they even sell tickets for baseball and football games. However, the real highlights here are definitely the hot dogs and sodas.

The hot dog I purchased here felt like a bit of a scam. I paid with a ten-dollar bill and only got a couple of dollars back. I did buy a drink as well, but regardless, it was a tasty treat, and much better and more affordable than the overpriced options at Oakland Coliseum or PacBell Park, if you know what I mean.

The atmosphere is calming and enjoyable. The service is outstanding. The menu offers a wide variety of options. The food is both unique and delicious. We would definitely come back for more meals.
