Ambiance Gr Kitchen Lounge

So glad there's finally a hip hop nightclub again. Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was fun and the dj dropped a seriously nice set on Saturday. 10$ cover fellas heads up.

I had a fabulous time at Ambience GR! The venue is such a vibe! So glad we no longer have to travel cities like Detroit or Chicago to dance the night away to ONLY hip-hop R B music. The dance floor was packed with people just having a damn good time! That energy was everything ?? Love, love, love it! Keep up the great work Ambience team!

Where do I start? It’s very bare in there. Almost warehouse vibes, someone recommended this place because it’s “classy” and upscale. Meanwhile I spent over $50 bucks for 3 drinks plus tip by a server whose lashes look like she bought them from party city and hung out on couches from big lots. It’s tacky, this is what poor people think classy/high end is.

Idk what the 3.4 star is for?!?! This place is the club GR has needed for a while. Jonathan knows how to make his guests feel welcome and the Ambiance is what makes the place with the bumping music!! Much love for this establishment and its success!! ??

I can’t speak to the interior or service operation of this establishment but I can attest to the outside atmosphere and frightening interactions that occur once the patrons leave at the end of the night. In the past 3 weeks this corner has seen 2 shootings, one taking place last night in a drive by around 2:00am. The block surrounding Ambiance is enveloped in the chaos that takes place between patrons as they cause havoc in the street, amongst each other by their hand to hand fighting, their wrecklessly driven vehicles leaving the parking garage or their armed patrons firing on each other. This establishment was touted as being a “disruptive” element to the Grand Rapids culture, in a positive way. I can attest, with full confidence, they are 100% disrupting the bubble around them in nothing but a dangerous and frightening way.
