My husband and I have been looking forward to dining here ever since we heard about it and read the rave reviews. We went last night when we were able to get a reservation, and the experience started out very pleasant. The menu looks very appealing for both food and drinks, so we decided to start with an appetizer and drinks. We shared the pimento cheese crab appetizer with homemade chips and I had a lemon drop martini, both of which were lovely. Service was very good to begin with, with my chopped blue salad arriving shortly after we finished the appetizer and my husband being brought another beer. Sadly that’s when things went downhill. Our waitress was also the bartender, and I sat there with an empty glass for quite some time while she made cocktails and Coffee from a single serve machine for quite a few people. My salad was lovely except the bacon that was all over the top of it was less than half done and it was quite disgusting to have raw pork on top of my salad. Nobody ever came to ask if I wanted another drink or if the salad was all right, so I just picked the slimy bacon off the top and set it aside. Our main courses arrived later, my husband having the fillet and I had shrimp and grits. I did not care for the preparation of the grits as two cakes, It would’ve been better to have a bowl of cheesy yummy grits underneath the shrimp, better incorporating them into the dish. The shrimp were ok, tho barely seasoned. My husband‘s very expensive steak look like none I had ever seen before after he sliced into it. The upper half was cooked way over well done and the bottom half was barely cooked, like someone had forgotten it was on the grill for too long and then flipped it over for just a minute for the other side. He ate it without complaint because that is his habit but I would not have paid over $30 for such a poorly cooked steak. When we were finished eating, the waitress finally came back and asked if everything was OK and I said it was not, showed her the raw bacon, and said I was never offered another drink even though I sat there for a long time without one, and she proceeded to argue with me that she had asked if I wanted another lemon drop martini when she clearly had not. My husband agreed that she offered him a beer because he finished his drink first, but then never came back to offer me one. At that point I just got up and left without commenting on our poorly prepared main courses leaving him to deal with the bill. I will not be returning.
My man and I had a wonderful experience in the greenhouse tonight. the environment is so peaceful and the service and the eating were 5 stars today. from the appetizers to the main course, dessert and latte. I highly recommend, but a reservation is recommended. we were randomly in the opposite, so I called last minute to see if we came in and grateful they were able to accommodate us, and I am so happy that they did. also our server, jamad was top notch. many thanks to the staff at Wallace’s in the green house for a wonderful evening.

From the outside, the green building may not seem like much, but those who pass up the opportunity to visit are truly missing out. The restaurant offers a cozy hut atmosphere with a lovely greenhouse where diners can enjoy a meal outdoors without having to deal with pesky Florida insects. The food is fresh, high quality, and expertly prepared, catering to a variety of palates. Those with food sensitivities or allergies will also find many options available to them, with the staff ready to accommodate their needs. The full bar offers a wide selection of drinks, including lattes and espresso. While reservations are recommended, they are not required. For large parties, it is advisable to book ahead to ensure there is enough space and to allow the staff to prepare for their visit, providing them with the best possible service and dining experience.
I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant! There were so many options to choose from and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, and as someone who frequently watches the food channel and loves cooking at home, I appreciate the healthy, gourmet, and creative dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, there aren't many similar options in the area, so I wish I had discovered this place sooner. I definitely plan on visiting this foodie spot regularly in the future. I tried the Duck breast, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The salads were also fantastic, as were the creative drinks. I even had the opportunity to meet the chef!
