Bonjardim - Lisboa

I’m a bom jardim guest since my childhood, don’t expect nothing fancy is simple chicken cooked perfectly I don’t know about the other dishes but they delivery what they promised with the chicken and is cheap too

It may not look as funny. but this is a very reliable place for good huh in lisbon. straight forward and delicious. a part could be divided by two. they have to order a page of fritten. which can also be shared by two. I usually sit outside, which has a good atmosphere with warm weather. there is often a street actor who plays near. They don't knock it until they try.

This is my 5th or 6th time dining here, I recommend it to anyone I know visiting Lisbon and this visit it did not disappoint. If this was in Dublin I would he here once a week. Chicken amazing, service friendly.

We got here early so didn't need to wait for a table but many people were later. Having said above it's a bit of a tourist trap, there were some locals dining. We decided to have a first course before the statutory peri-peri chicken and chips (which we found unremarkable and chips served cold). The first courses were good however cured meat and chicken broth (also a bit cold however). The flan dessert was enjoyable. Service friendly but some quite long waits.

Great spicy chicken and very quick service. Great value too. We had a bottle of vinho verde for 10 Euros! French fries also recommended. We sat upstairs cause the patio was full and it was very pretty.
