Beard Papa's - Monterey Park

Friendly and quick service. Puffs are the best and I don't know how I'm just now discovering this place... Glad I did! The ice cream puffs are good. Wait no it's all good!

I love the pastries but the customer service sucks! I've been to this Beard Papa's a few times and not once have I received welcoming cutomer service. The girl takes my order and she seems to be in a bad mood, I go again and the same thing with the same girl. Then I go today and the guy taking my order answers my questions in a condescending manner. I'd been to other Beard Papa's and the service is welcoming.

The last time I had Beard Papa was in Japan, so I'm really pleased they opened a location here. The flavors are exactly as I remembered them. The service was also very friendly!

I thoroughly enjoyed the cream puffs we had at this Beard Papa's location. Unfortunately, they were out of the mini sizes, so we settled for the regular ones, but the crispy outer shell was exceptional! Even after sitting out for a while before we ate them at a potluck, they stayed perfectly crisp without any sogginess. We tried both the vanilla and green tea flavors; while both were delicious, the green tea really stole the show! We were in and out in just 15 minutes, and although there’s no parking lot, there’s plenty of parking available on the street. I would definitely return the next time we have a family gathering in Monterey Park!

The cashier was super nice and even offered a coupon card. the only reason why i decided to give 3 stars is because i ordered 6 mini cream puffs for $7. i only received 4, missing 2. which seems kind of unusual since that is a big difference. the workers did seem like they were in a rush, even though it was just my sister and i in the store. overall the cream puffs are pretty good, just disappointed i'm missing some.
