Soupesoup - Montréal

We stopped in for a small dessert. The ambiance is excellent - they said they hast a lot of events. We had a rich pudding/cake in a little jar that was very yummy.

Excellent place, good food, good variety and awesome coffee. Take away counter if too busy. I love this place!

We had our office Christmas party at SoupesSoup in Old Montreal and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant is spacious; surrounded by large windows; simple furniture, yet comfortable, and clean. The Christmas decor - tastefully done; strings of light in one of the windows which looked like cascading water; very nice. The only thing I cannot understand is why the toilets are so tiny, uncomfortably tiny?About the food: the Jerusalem Artichoke soup was super delicious. It was the first time I actually tasted the root vegetable and I am now hooked except, it is not easy to find in regular grocery stores. The rest of the meal was good but it is the soup that got me. Not sure if they serve this soup on a regular basis, but if they do, you must try it. Their "pouding chomeur" is also very good. It is a traditional cake eaten in Quebec - white cake (more of a biscuit substance) submerged in maple syrup that is typically eaten in the winter season. YUM. Try it, you'll love it....you'll find yourself saying "mmmm c'est bon!".

Un restaurant spacieux et convivial dans le quartier du vieux Montréal qui attire les startups et les nouveaux venus du monde entier.

Première expérience dans ce restaurant avec un cadre simple, tendance, sans chichi et qui met tout de suite à l'aise. Arrivé à l'heure du déjeuner j'ai été surpris par le monde venant apparemment des bureaux alentours pour déjeuner sur place, ou cherchant lesplats à emporter. L'équipe est jeune, souriante, présente mais pas trop et aux petits soins malgré le monde présent. Vaste choix de soupes et de sandwiches dans différentes proportions. Indications pour des plats (Paléo, vegan, végétalien, sans gluten sans lactose). Je recommande vivement le dessert que j'ai découvert: le pudding du chômeur (!!!). Ne regardez pas les calories mais si vous ne connaissez pas, dégustez les yeux fermés! Je vais y retourner et faire découvrir cet endroit à mes amis
