Bidra med feedbackDecent amenities and good apartment complex overall with the response time good, however some of their techs are left to be desired.Had my hvac have an issue in the evening when it was 80 degrees outside. Called the emergency line, which has not been fully updated on their website btw. The tech came out an hour later, didnt even acknowledge me thanking him, and checked my unit for under 5 minutes, then said il check outside. Never came back.Called 2 hours later for a status. He called me, said oh I told you there was nothing wrong and I would go outside to check. Umm ok, then why didn 't you come back and alert me you can 't find anything, am I supposed to take your word for it and assume all is ok when it really wasnt still. Then proceeded to say on the phone the inside of your place is in the 70s, what do you expect it to be. I am not coming out tonight, it 's too dark .I expect it to be the temp i set it which was 69 at which it was clearly not achieving, and there are flashlighs that exist. At least tell me you checked the outside and if you can 't find anything wrong, then offer some suggestions, like the air filter, low freon, leakages, the coils, power cycle the system, charging the unit. The vents are blowing somewhat cool air but def on the warmer side which is the issue that is common with one of those caused mentioned above. Now because he didn 't really investigate anything, I have to bear a night of 77 degrees with stuffiness in my place ?.Il be sure to speak to the office, who always seemed friendly, about this issue, and I am hopeful they help will resolve this situation.
We have been very pleased with our decision to move into Groveton Green. The staff is always helpful and the maintenance and cleaning crews are second to none. Our family loves the amenities and just walking the neighborhood with our dogs. Great place to live!!
Scheduled a tour for 3/13/23 at 4:30PM received a confirmation email confirming . Arrived at 4:30PM ,leasing office was closed . Decided to wait around for agent to come back. While waiting a maintenance worker asked if we needed help he proceeds to contact the agent (Lauren )who said she was at lunch . Lauren arrives to the office at 4:40PM/4:45PM . As I’m standing there I inform her we had a SCHEDULED TOUR she tells us well she’s at lunch will have to come back at 5:30PM . As a leasing agent how do you tell potential residents who had a SCHEDULED TOUR they have to come back because you need to eat . Lauren was extremely unprofessional and rude . If you have problem with providing customer service then you should not be a leasing agent. Please note I will continue to contact the property until I speak with the property manager to complain about the unprofessional behavior from Lauren .
BED BUG WARNING!! You need to read before you sign a lease at Groveton Green apartments. I signed a lease at the end of Oct 2022. At the same time, uninformed by the leasing team, there were bedbugs in an apartment two floors above the one they assigned to me. They actually sent a notice out 9 days later stating there would be mandatory pest inspections to 5 units above mine. The close proximity in that red flag e mail caused me to ask to be treated too, but was told I wouldn't be a part that inspection. (MD state law only requires inspection in the adjoining apartments another org just doing the minimum). When they were treating the infested apartment, the bed bugs moved down to my apartment. I didn't even know what bit me the first time and when I talked to the leasing office, they still didn't mention that they were treating for bed bugs. I few weeks later I woke up with bites from head to ankle and ended up in urgent care. The leasing office still not mentioning anything about bed bugs in my frantic call to them from urgent care. They took their time treating, spoke to me without any empathy, refused to move me (not my furniture) to an new bug free apartment, and expected me to keep paying rent. I had to send my young son away to protect him. My relatively new and expensive furniture is now trash. I had to locate a new place to live just 3 months after moving. And, my bank account is drained with moving, buying new beds, chairs, tables, clothes, shoes, desks, rugs, linens, hotel stays and bulk trash expenses. Now I'm on the way to court to fight not paying rent for the hell ish months I've endured. Greystar is the owner and are proving again that the bottom line is more important than the HUMANs that regrettably chose to lease with them. Tell all your friends and save them from the hell I went through.
Went in for a tour and no one showed up. No way to communicate with the leasing office as the phone numbers only direct you to endless directories that eventually hangs up on you. Could have communicated that they would not be available at the time but failed to reach back out after I left a message on instagram and on their voicemail. Very suspicious management.
