Sukeban Sushi Champagne - San Antonio

The sushi was incredibly fresh—definitely the best I've had in a long time! This restaurant, though a bit tucked away, has a wonderful atmosphere inside. Plus, it's just steps away from the Riverwalk! Overall, it was a fantastic change from all the heavy Mexican cuisine. Food: 5/5

Based on my first visit, I have to say I’m quite particular about my sushi since I grew up on the East Coast, and this place really impressed me! I tried the squid, ikura, and salmon nigiri, as well as the Southtown roll. The roll sounded quite unusual, but I was intrigued enough to give it a chance, and wow, it turned out to be one of the best-flavored rolls I've ever had! The goat cheese provided a wonderful accent flavor, and the serrano added the perfect amount of spice and a nice crunch. Given how often dining experiences can be disappointing these days, I was genuinely thrilled that this was not the case here.

First time trying out this place. Ordered the volcano roll and it was amazing. Its a hot dish and a little kick to it. Id recommend ordering that dish. Also the yuki nigori strawberry was Sweet. Services was great as well! Helped us decide on what to order! Definitely coming back again.Food: 5/5
