Bidra med feedbackA bit of advice dont go here for a pre show meal at the Palace thearte! Have used this pub before and food was good and we were served quiclkly. But tonight 6.10.2011, ordered two fish and chips and drinks at 1815, and advised that a delay of thirty minutes was anticipated! Plenty of time as show didnt start until 1930. At 1912 no sign of food, theerefore requested refund and went to Theatre hungry!
AT LAST, IT'S OPEN AGAIN!!! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is excellent, the beer selection is impressive, and the staff is wonderful. I would always recommend this charming little pub!
This place used to be my bank, but like many banks, it closed its local branches in favor of several new pubs. One of them is The Trading Rooms, which offers a plush environment that welcomes customers into what some might describe as a professional bar. The last time I visited, there was a 21+ age restriction at the door and a dress code in place. Nevertheless, it’s an attractive pub that could serve as the perfect venue for a date. They also have a full menu and a large plasma screen for those important sporting events. It’s conveniently located on London Road (A13), about 1.5 miles from the center of Southend and a mile from Leigh.
They have completely transformed this place, now offering table service while maintaining a pub vibe. I recommend it for a great business lunch in a relaxed setting.
