i remember this place when 45-50 years ago when stan kept it,busy and full of atmosphere.now like most pubs quieter

i called in expecting the pub to be exactly as when i last saw it in 1969,but no progress!!!, still it is a lovely pub with a nice armosphere

a big old character pub, if anything a bit empty and lacking atmosphere.i thought back many years when the stagecoaches would stop here
