Bó Bèi - 新見市

Bitchu Omatsuri Sushi uses whole mackerel and it is impressive. The balance of flavors is just right, and you can enjoy the pressed mackerel sushi with a nice amount of fat. The head and tail are decorative, and although there is vinegar rice inside, the surrounding parts are not edible. The Stamina Set Menu with boar is the boar version of a grilled meat set, but the meat is satisfyingly voluminous. There is hardly any gamey taste. The sauce is rich and goes well with the rice. You can choose between brown rice or white rice. There are also tatami mat seats, making it easy to use with multiple people. Additionally, there is a parking lot right next to the restaurant, which is convenient.

I had lunch here on the 3rd. I ordered the Pork Bowl and the Bitchu Omatsuri Sushi Mackerel Sushi. Both were delicious, but the Mackerel Sushi was especially outstanding. As someone living in the Kanto region, I don't know of many places in Kanto that serve delicious Mackerel Sushi, but honestly, it was much better than the Mackerel Sushi I had at a certain restaurant in Fukui, Tsuruga the next day. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to visit again and this time, I want to try a whole Mackerel Sushi roll.

The Peony Pork Ramen was too firm for my liking.
