フォレスト Dào の Yì Diàn

This is a wonderful roadside station. It is more like a craft exhibition hall than a typical roadside station. There are many heartwarming artworks to see, making it very enjoyable. It is a place that people who like it, really like it.

Located in a corner of the woodcraft hall, this restaurant is part of a roadside station where various products made of wood are sold. The woodcraft hall is the main attraction, exuding a warm and inviting atmosphere with its wooden decor. Unlike other roadside stations, you can feel the warmth of the wood throughout the area. Additionally, there is a piano in the center that plays automatically, but you'll need to ask the staff if you want to hear it. Surprisingly, there is also a cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee for 350 yen. It's nice to sip coffee while feeling the warmth of the wood around you.

The restroom is not particularly clean or spacious, but I often stop by for a restroom break. During the summer, I enjoy eating soft serve ice cream before heading home. The Woodcraft Museum is a nice place to relax, but I have never bought anything there, haha. You can also buy road station stamps, magnets, and Gachapin toys here.

国道３３３号線沿いに、１９９４年 平成６年 ４月に番目に開駅されている。 駐車場も、国道沿いであり普通車６３台、大型車も１０台確保されている。 もちろんトイレは２４時間使用可能である。 職場のスタッフが地元であり、自宅に立ち寄り時に、開駅当時から訪ねていたのだ。 ここは地元の木材 丸瀬布町は木材の町 を使用したウッドクラフト製品の販売や、自動演奏のグランドピアノが特徴である。 喫茶コーナーや、レストランも併設されている。 記憶でも開駅当時から年間利用者数では、北海道の道の駅でも１０年以上トップクラスであったと聞いていた。 しかし２０１７年 平成２９年 ３月に、高速の旭川紋別自動車道が遠軽瀬戸瀬インターチェンジまで、延伸になっている。 その影響を大きく受け、国道３３３号線沿いにあるこの「道の駅まるせっぷ」の利用は激減したと聞いた。 同僚の実家に聞くと、２０１６年までは約９０万人から１００万人が訪れていたとの事。 ２０１７年からは瀬戸瀬インターが出来る前の６０％減あり、半分にも満たないと言う。 考えるに、中継道の駅になりつつあるのだ。 ただ丸瀬布には、温泉のほか、丸瀬布昆虫生誕館もある。 さらには「丸瀬布森林公園いこいの森」では、日本で唯一森内を走る蒸気機関車の雨宮２１号が運行しているのだ。 さらにこの上武利丸瀬布線 道々１０７０号線 を進むと、山彦の滝がある。 いまから１２０年以上も前に発見されている。少々足元は悪いが、一見の価値がある滝だ。
