Sabor Peru - 4ta. Avenida

I ordered the Lomo-Salzado and it was *Köche Kuss*. My friends I visited for lunch, so there was only one other group and we sat right away. Service was great.

Simple and tasty food and service was very friendly and helpful (explaining the details and what was better adapted to what I was looking for).

We couldn't resist trying some Peruvian food in Cartagena. My friend ordered the chap and it was delicious. I ordered a vegetarian dish that I did not recommend it was basically mushy rice. We ate 2x for lunch here. We sat outside under the overhang, and only people watched. It was a nice step change.

I'd been craving Peruvian food and this restaurant was around the corner from my hotel. At best, the food was mediocre and I left regretting this choice of Peruvian food. No atmosphere and while I ate outdoors, I could have done without the street sellers. No one on staff was watching.

Not in the Centro Historico ( you will have to take a taxi) but its worth the ride for solidly good Peruvian food. This is a locals place. We live in Cartagena and eat lunch here at least once a week. The food is big in taste and always cooked perfect. The owner and his family are very personable, kind and take the time to ensure you have a great experience. My mother has visited me in Cartagena 2x and she said this was the best place she has eaten in Cartagena
