The service is unfriendly and eating easy, not to say, klempner. it is a great scandal, because the garden is cool and beautiful with a litte canal.

We decided to make a stop in aarau on the way back from a lovely mini break at the train lake. Given the series of fabulous reviews here, this had to be our choice for a light snack and drink. the reality fell far behind the...glorious image painted below. one of the reasons why we chose this place was to enjoy a glass of verdicchio, one of our favorite wines and one that is not easy to find in Switzerland. it is clearly listed on the giusi website menu. when I asked about white wine, the whole selection that was available to us consisted of pinot grigio. that is it? they can get pg in almost any hackable and caffe. I decided instead for a cappuccino, which was hardly ok. my friend had a glass of red wine and although she speaks fluently German and Italian (she is from the area), could not understand the hurly consideration of the name of the wein. She never found out what it was, but it was too heavy, almost port like, for a hot august afternoon. there was no menu available, so instead of trusting the recommendation of the cook, recently was down, this regrettable way in a sushi bar in dijon (see review), I sat. my friend had an salat with bruschetta rehearsal. it was okay, nothing strange, but nothing bad. service was perfunctory (and this is generous). we wondered why on earth this place had such good reviews, we can think of many spots in basel that would leave it in the dust. there was nothing special. we made a later stop for a drink at the gossip bar, which was a better choice in every sight.

The Service is unfriendly and the Food simple for not to say clumsy. It is a great pity, because the garden is cool and nice with a litte channel.
