I was there yesterday evening waited for bar/restaurant to open at 6 o'clock. Was only table there and we ordered. While waiting for food went to use toilets. They were filthy, full of toilet paper. I used the disabled toilet. No excuse for toilets to be like that on opening. . Staff member serving wearing mask covering mouth only while serving. When food came the mash, veg and stuffing were cold. I said t to a staff member who picked it up and took it to kitchen where it was microwaved brought it back and never apologized. The steak that was ordered as well done was completely uncooked in the middle. If a kitchen is crazy busy I can understand how some things can go out to tables not up to standard but there was only 2 orders from our table and no one else. Definitely willl not be returning.i felt it as very unhygienic glad I had my sanitizer with me.

Absolutely highly recommend Abbeyleix Manor , we had our wedding here in November . We cannot praise Alex and his team enough , ours was a last minute booking as our original hotel let us down . For a small wedding of 25 guests Alex and the team catered for our every need and the room lay out was absolutely fantastic. The food was brilliant and timely , the rooms were super and all our guests had a great day. Thanks again to Alex , Sheila and all the team for making our day so special we can’t thank you all enough . Fran Mark
