O'briens - Abbottstown

The restaurant has renamed itself from O'Brien to New Era, and it’s definitely worth a visit. The food is outstanding, the staff is welcoming, and the prices are quite fair. Just keep in mind that service can be a little slow, and finding parking might be tricky. You may also have to wait a short while for your meal. Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend you give it a try!

I ordered the chicken and the seafood platter, and the portions were massive—far more than I could ever finish in one meal.

I stopped by for a quick meal at around 5:30 PM, only to find the doors locked, despite the fact that they’re supposed to close at 6 PM. This gives the impression that you’re actually closing at 5:30 instead of 6.

The fried chicken here is a fantastic deal, particularly with the all-you-can-eat option. Although the other dishes may be just average, opting for the fried chicken is a choice you'll definitely be happy with.
