Handmade Burger Co - Aberdeen City

We booked a table here for something different on approach it looked bad..old decor uncared for shabby But gave it a chance the male server was excellent Food was above average than expected Macho burger as husband called it superb Plenty of options on the menu all looked good and no complaints on the pig fries or grilled piri burger.. Downside I am going to be polite here…the female supervisor was horrible not only to my table when we questioned about desserts to be told they had none rude when we ask for bull to be amended as charged for something we didn’t have.. She was also rude and short to table next to us and looked to be taking her bad day out on guests…come on that’s not hospitality.. I feel sorry for staff having to deal with her..tip leave the phone issue behind be a nice host.. Food is good with ok portions maybe a bigger bun..flavours and taste.. Staff overall good friendly even when busy…drinks limited Decor needs improvement drastically.. pleasant experience apart from supervisor who makes fault towers look good Will be back to give it a second go

So was super thrilled to hear that old fav was re-opening But sadly it’s lacking the IT factor…Not for food but rather poor staff.. Food was great and fantastic value with awesome flavours miss those old style fries.. no desserts available what’s that all about?? Staff well this needs to be improved before get that 5 stars.. The Manageress wasn’t wearing a mask or being helpful seemed rather distracted and rather short with staff..that’s putting it down in the short theme as could go wasn’t very professional.. So food keeps the score high…the rest needs work on I will be back and finger crossed it’s a better experience with staff as a ship is lead by the captain and don’t wish another titanic with this place

Myself husband went here tonight at 6pm fir tea before shopping. Server v friendly but seemed unsure of the menu items? Both managers (female) had no face masks on altho all servers did?? Our LUKEWARM food arrived grilled chicken burgers with bbq cheese bacon with fries On ordering our desserts were told after we ordered they didn't have any HOT desserts at all. Decided to have HOT drinks instead. Asked for the bill from a manager she dudntveven ask if we had enjoyed our food? Very disappointing experience Certainly won't be back SORRY

We have never eaten here before but will be back. It was lovely. Staff very helpful. Chips with different toppings was really unusual and lovely

Was quite excited when I found out this place had re opened. Unfortunately was let down when I realised the handmade elements weren’t indeed handmade. Always looked forward to the cut chips, which did make this place worth a visit even when service was a bit slow. Beware if you order, they’re now overpriced McDonald’s frozen. I had the vegetarian Cajun and Bean burger which I have to say was average and didn’t really taste any different to a frozen bean burger definitely different to the original. The halloumi fries were good tho. A lot of money for something you could rustle up at home. Many choices now in burger joints wouldn’t bother going back. I did ask about the chips and they said it was because they wanted consistency in quality of product, said they couldn’t always source good potatoes which I found to be a cop out given we live in Scotland and produce fabulous potatoes year round.
