After a slight wait to be acknowledged by the staff, we were eventually seated by a very nice lady. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill from there. We ordered our meals and were asked to pay immediately by our unfriendly server. When we questioned this, we were told it was how our waitress preferred to do things. We paid and then waited and waited. Only two out of the three meals arrived, and when we inquired about the missing meal, we were told that this was not bad. We had to ask for cutlery from a neighboring table as none was provided. The order was incorrect and the meals had lost some temperature by the time the missing one arrived. We ordered hot drinks and were surprised that we did not have to pay upfront, but this was due to a different waitress. The lukewarm food prevented us from forming an opinion on the taste. Although we did not complain, we noted to avoid this place in the future. If meeting with friends, we sometimes have to go with the flow. I may give this place another chance, but I will not be recommending it anytime soon.
First visit after a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Morning coffee with a lovely bacon roll and nice scones. Attentive staff with great service. Will definitely recommend to others.
I had a fantastic experience at this charming cafe. The food was excellent, especially the soup and the Coronation chicken sandwich. The staff with disabilities were amazing, and the support staff were truly admirable for their work. The best part of my visit was seeing the staff having a great time while still being professional. The atmosphere in the cafe was delightful. I wouldn't mind getting the recipe for that delicious sandwich!
For a training enterprise Flycup are very regimented in some ways, whilst very lax in others. They don't seem to value their customers. After a considerable wait I was informed that I couldn't have an item on the brunch menu as it was after noon. However, the clock on the wall indicated otherwise. It was frustrating as due to some activities behind the counter carried over to the delay in getting our order taken. When the table next to ours vacated, the clearers sorted out the dirty dishes on ours for several minutes before carrying them to the kitchen no acknowledgement was made that people were sitting eating their meal at the table. The prices are expensive for what is offered, however there appears to be little awareness of good customer service, customers will only return if they have had good food and also good customer service. The food was good, the prices were okay, except the prices didn't reflect the mediocre service provided.
