Bidra med feedbackTasty food, but slightly rude service. The waitress kept coming to our table to take our plates before we’d finished eating. She stood there while we were finishing off so we felt rushed and couldn’t finish all the sauces and garnishes. They are small portions so not being able to finish them was a bit sad. 3 of us had 9 stunning dishes, full of flavour, beautifully cooked and all served with a smile Highly creative menu from an exceptionally gifted team if young chefs Well worth a visit and we will return Parking: It was the food fair, but parked for free near Aldi, up the hill of private houses Will go to Morrisons next time! Wow, just WOW! 4 of us had lunch and chose 2 dishes each so we could share. Monkfish, tiger prawns, breaded plaice, Beef, Chicken, bang bang cauliflower, Pannacotta....... Everything tasted amazing. A couple of refreshing cucumber Collins cocktails finished it all off. Outstanding service in beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to return and would highly recommend Service: Dine in

Overall, The Gaff is a delightful dining destination that I often recommend to friends and family. The staff is exceptional, and the layout and ambiance are charming. However, in recent years, I've noticed that the prices have become somewhat inflated for the portion sizes offered. As a long-time London resident, I am no stranger to high-priced meals, but even by my standards, it feels a bit excessive for what is provided. For instance, the duck dish is priced at around £16-£18, but only consists of three rather small slices of breast. While the taste is wonderful and I can appreciate the quality and effort that goes into the dishes, I believe that there needs to be a balance where cost aligns with value, regardless of other factors. It is still a lovely establishment, and I will continue to recommend it to others. However, it would be nice to feel that you're receiving a bit more for the price you pay.
