In the little menu (three dishes for each course, but it is a risto-hotel, so we can stay), we opt for a dish, but we do not in time to ask, that the waiter (gentilissimo to appearance) tells us that the chef recommends another. We insist on the one chosen, and a few minutes later he returns saying that he is finished. Patience, take more. We ask fried mushrooms from the menu, but also back here saying they were finished. So the first ones were completely saltless. We pointed it out, and first they assured us that the cook had put it, then they proposed to us of salt to put on it. We left them. Let's give the seconds and the sweets, really cheap. When we went to pay, account above the average, they took us 4 euros from the first due to the inconvenience. To conclude, eaten badly and treated as genuine idiots, since we were passing through. Avoid it.
A disappointment on all fronts except for the service, informed of the fixed menu fish or meat only once seated and not to the reservation without mentioning the cost neither verbally nor reporting it on the menu... mediocre wine brought open to the table, food not to the height of a 4 star. As for the price in 4 persons 242€. Not recommended.
The restaurant is discreet, it is located inside the Hotel Abetone and Pyramids the quality of food however is not up to a 4 star and also the service that day left a little to desire. We're definitely not coming back.
I had dinner in the restaurant last Saturday night with my boyfriend. We had booked through The Fork having found an offer that guaranteed 50% discount on the total cash. Arrived at the restaurant we found that the waiters and receptionists (the restaurant is located inside the 4-star hotel) are very kind and friendly; the menu is divided in 4 first and 4 seconds, the outlines and desserts are located on a buffet. We took a lasagna, certainly not homemade and of poor quality, a dish of small ears with chianina ragout and as according to pork ribs (hard and with little meat). As sweet, a slice of chocolate sacher cake, definitely not homemade. It tasted like the famous Panbrioche's Girelles. Drink two glasses, a prosecco and a red. So, at the cash we paid 25€ in two because we used the fork discount of 50%. Surely it was not a good dinner, we got up unsatisfied with what we had eaten, all undigestible and especially of low quality. We expected each other from a restaurant in a 4-star hotel.
Friendly service, available waiters, cured dishes, good food, beautiful environment. To try. Their chef is great. Your bread is great!!! !
