Bidra med feedbackDuring the trip we came to this place happy us. Very friendly staff, the decor was cute to stay with a Cajun theme. We had a hot crab cancer diving with toast points as an appetizer delicious we also had a cup of rubber bears that was amazing. The prices were good and I can't say enough about the staff, I also met one of the owners super friendly. Next time I drive south, I will redirect myself so I can return, I would give this facility the rating of 10/10
Top notch flavors and menu! We had the Boudin balls, Snapper Étouffée and the Blackened Chicken Alfredo followed by the bread pudding for dessert. Every flavor was right on, and you can tell everything is made from scratch. Somewhere between comfort food and fine dining. Even with limited staff, we had great service. Abingdon has so many awesome restaurants, it’s hard to choose sometimes, but Papa Tom’s is def in our top 5.
Our group made an impulsive stop here on a drive back from the mountains. We ordered just about everything thing on the menu and were not disappointed. The Cajun specials and entrees were all delicious! The bread pudding and key lime pie are a must have! The staff was friendly and attentive.
It’s taken me awhile to find time to eat here but I’m glad I did while they still have their Mexican menu. Some of the best local tacos I’ve had. The Hawaiian taco was delicious. Chips are good but I did not like the salsa, my wife did though. Cool place and easy to get into. Excited to try it again when they transition to Cajun next month
Papa Tom's Cajun Persuasion is a great update from the Mexican! It's nice to finally have something different in the area! The atmosphere is cozy with multiple seating options and beautiful colors in the restaurant. I had the Chicken Alfredo for dinner and let me tell you, it's great! I had never had Key Lime Pie before and it was wonderful as well! Nice and friendly staff, tasty food, and the wait wasn't long at all! Highly recommend this restaurant!
