Shoney's - Abingdon

Shoney's is fantastic! We try to eat there as often as we can. We absolutely love the all-you-can-eat buffet, especially the peel-and-eat shrimp – it’s amazing! And it’s only around $15 per person. Dondra was incredibly friendly, even though we arrived just 30 minutes before closing and ended up staying after close. I give Dondra 5 stars and Shoney's 4 stars!

We have four children and decided to try this restaurant, which turned out to be a great choice for us. Although we missed breakfast, the lunch buffet was absolutely delicious. The flavors of the food really impressed both us and the kids. Our server was excellent and very friendly. Overall, it was definitely a winner!

The staff here is amazing and the food is great! Charlie is one of the best waiters I've ever encountered; she always makes me and my family feel welcome and taken care of. I really hope they give her a raise! We travel from Bristol every week to dine at this Shoney's because it's simply the best!

The staff was excellent!!! They worked well with my 3 Ywar old daughter and were very attentive. I took a star because I didn't have any Crayons for their coloring page that they gave, and because the food *real* needs some spices for the taste. It's pretty bland, but that could be that they were their demographic, but it was still bland.

The food and service was great. I think Shoney's is the only restaurant I've seen where you can get salad and breakfast foods on the the same buffet. The Abingdon Shoney's also has great displays from local artists which make dining and standing in line more interesting.
