Wawa Food Market - Abingdon

If you choose from here, do not expect to drink your milkshake/speciality. The food will be right, but I just got a milkshake from here 2 out of the 10 or so often I ordered. Fortunately, DoorDash will refund it. In other news, her club sandwich with Turkey Ham is my favorite.

We stopped by to use the restroom and grab some coffee. The coffee was good, but the bathrooms were dirty and seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The store was quite busy with a lot of foot traffic and people getting gas. The gas price was $4.71 a gallon, which is the lowest I've seen recently.

Ordered a pita sandwich and the pita bread is so hard I cant bite through it. Cool.

Great? Coffee room. Adequate prices and employees are also very nice, friendly, polite and welcoming.

On a positive note, I want to recognize the night shift staff from Saturday to Tuesday—they're hardworking and friendly. I don't think I could handle that job every day, especially given my past experiences. There's no amount of money that would make me want to work a graveyard shift again. I've had my fill of dealing with the public, particularly in today's world. Every night, I give a shout-out to the team, especially for keeping the coffee machine running with fresh coffee all night long. That’s a rarity at other places. In my opinion, every employee should be appreciated with a bonus for working those late hours. Wawa really needs to improve the portion sizes and quantities of their food. I struggle to rate this store because when you order the chicken strips or breakfast burritos, the experience drops to about 4 stars, despite everything else being worthy of 5 stars.
