I'm urging a diner from her club sandwich because I think if they can't get it right, then everything else is probably not great either. The main sandwich was that dry hard bacon fell out everywhere. It was really difficult to eat. I felt overloaded for the sandwich and was even charged too much for additional chips for my son. Besides, they only seem to be open in the morning and have lunch. This is a shame, because I'd like to go to the diner at night. Maybe the rest of their food is great, but not with one of my favorite foods. I never write reviews, but felt like you needed a wake up call. I don't expect a good meal in a diner, but I expect a decent sandwich.

We love Daves. Food is PA Dutch fair, but much more fresh and tasty that a typical diner. Soups are fantastic, turkey dinner served only on Sunday is moist and delicious. The crab and chicken sandwich is also one of my favorites. We live about 1 1/2 hour away; but fall in, while antique or travel to Philadelphia or AC. Dave is a little treasure!!

Dave's have been there for 5 years and we never knew it. We have camped in this area for a long time and regret having never found Dave's. The food is hot and delicious and the service is great. Do yourself a favor and try Dave's. I had so many home fries I couldn't eat them all, better than too little right?
