Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind. Tucked away like a hidden gem inside a historic art deco airport terminal, it offers outdoor seating with a view of the airfield. Enjoying a meal while watching the planes take off and land makes for a wonderful family outing.
My friend and I planned to meet up with our kids for a meal. I didn't know about this restaurant beforehand. There is paid parking available, but you can also park for free at the end of the airport drive and take a leisurely walk to the restaurant. My...
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time after being invited by a friend. We had delicious fish and chips, as well as some amazing desserts. The restaurant also offers a great view of the airport. The service was excellent - friendly and fast. If you appreciate art deco, this is a must-visit place. As mentioned in previous reviews, the parking lot is monitored by a company, but the cost of a ticket was reasonable. I would highly recommend The Hummingbird and look forward to returning soon.
The hummingbird is a big caffe I regularly visited. Unfortunately, the parking space was outsourced to one of these companies that cctw uses, sending out letters that do not offer them any kind of trouble. the app they use did not work. Despite several attempts to pay, it took so long to do that, I overtaked the grace period. No, where does it say what this period is actually, although I was paying for my parking space when I was refined, I will take my business from now on elsewhere.
I ordered a bottle of lager beer, and it came at room temperature. I nicely asked for a cold one, but they came back to say: they are all like this, from the cellar. The lady was quite rude, and didn't let me send it...back. I had a sip, it was as lukewarm as expected, so I PAID for the drink (even though I didn't drink it) and left to have lunch somewhere else. Not sure why they were so rude about it because, to be fair, lager beer is to be served cold. I'll never go back (mostly because of the bad manners of teh staff).
