Bidra med feedbackThe service here was excellent and very friendly. We appreciated the complimentary warm bread, though it tasted like standard enriched bleached wheat flour French bread. I understand it's free, but still, I expected more. The agnolotti was undercooked and overly thick; it should have been lighter and smaller. It had a chewy, rubbery texture, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the orange-yellow thyme sauce was quite good. As for the $25 steak, it was well-seasoned and had a nice buttery flavor, but it was cooked rare instead of the medium rare I requested.
The food here is absolutely amazing. The mac n cheese is exceptional, and the braised short ribs, pasta, and pizza are all fantastic. I also really enjoyed the Basta old fashioned cocktail. I loved this place and will definitely be returning!
I dined here for the first time, and now I see why the place was so busy. The food was outstanding! I had the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs, and they were incredibly tender. The accompanying sauce and vegetables were excellent as well. My wife tried the Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and black truffle, while our 4-year-old polished off her margherita pizza. I typically skip the pizza crust, but I enjoyed every last bite this time. We also ordered two sides: grilled broccolini and sautéed greens, both of which were delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic meal!
Great place to enjoy some Italian food. Our waitress definitely had heavy Italian accent. Nice to hear how ricotta is suppose to be pronounced. The only complaint I have is after we?re practically done eating, I noticed waiters were offering Parmesan Cheese for other meals ordered at other tables. We were never offered any. Hmph! ???? I?ll make sure to ask if not offered next time! Hey, where were you AGT Ben Lapidus and your Parmesan song when I needed you?.lol!
Went here with some great friends. Nice environment. The food was fantastic pasta with seafood (Spaghettini di Pesce) the flavors were wonderful and the seafood was large and plentiful. I ordered mine gluten free and I could not tell that is how good it was. Also shared a New York steak. I am not a steak person and probably have 5 or 6 of them per year. This was amazing cooked over wood and you could sure taste it very tender almost didn't need a knife. Dessert
