Numero Uno is like a dessert pizza that melts in your mouth! I can't help but drool every time I think about it. They serve classic deep-dish pizza that truly lives up to their motto, "One Bite and We Gotcha!" The customer service is excellent, and they offer Pepsi products as well as beer on draft. There are plenty of parking spaces behind the building and a few in front, making it convenient for a quick stop off the highway. The seating is spacious and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable, and they also have a variety of options like discs, subs, pasta, and salads.

We had family over, and when I mentioned we’d be ordering pizza, everyone perked up. I said we were going with Numero Uno. Their reaction? “What? Who? Is this some pizza from the 1980s?” But let me tell you, the deep-dish crust is incredible—it's not dense or chewy like BJ’s, but rather a light, buttery crust with a hint of garlic. The cheese and meat quality are both top-notch. How can you tell? Just look for the puddles of oil on your pizza; that’s a sign of the good stuff. Pro tip: Stop hesitating and order already. You really can’t go wrong!

Uno's also offers a thin New York-style crust, which looked tempting since two other tables ordered it while we were there. They have a Happy Hour on weekdays from 5 to 7 PM, with draft beers priced at $3, but it's limited to Bud and Bud Light. They also serve a draft IPA, Stella Artois, and a Californian microbrew whose name I unfortunately missed. Even though we saw great reviews on Google and Yelp, we were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Uno's. I wouldn't call it a romantic spot, but it has a lively atmosphere. If you're looking for fantastic Chicago-style pizza (or New York thin-crust), this is the place to go!

I haven't been to Numero Uno for many years, not to the central coast. We drove to this place to fulfill my desire. So glad we did. The place is small, almost missed, but the food and the staff were great. Sami Jo was great, a new friend. They have vegetarian and vegan choices. I had peppermint. Take advantage of the ride from Grover Beach. Thanks for a good meal.

Ordered a really good mushroom, black olive pizza. It was well done and really yummy along with the salad.
