Sagar - Ahmedabad

It was Gujarati new year day we me my fiancee) were out for food. It was already late we were searching for some good veg food. We were passing by relief road decided to try at Sagar as it was still open at 11.30 pm).We ordered paneer masala Tandoori roti. I would say that I had one of the best food in Ahmedabad at Sagar that night. Subji was excellent in both quality quantity. Amazing taste paneer was very fresh. Tandoori roti were the best I had in my life. Not only the taste properly cooked but also the size. It was big...!! I had this big rotis in Delhi nowhere else. You will not find this big yet so amazingly prepared tandoori roti anywhere else in Ahmedabad.More than 5 stars to Sagar Restaurant.Next time I would try non veg food.

Good place in the interiors of the city. Great place to go for a breakfast even great for dinners taste quite well must try biryani other starters and main course are also mouthwatering.

I just dined at this place..Guys its a nice place to dine with family...good ambience..good hygeine..good quality...good quantity and good taste..<br/ But dont get cheated by the menu price given here..its an old one..two persons can dine here 700rs..<br/

We ordered Butter chicken with Tandoori Roti and Half biriyani which was of good quantity worth Rs. 100.Overall the food was good. At last we had custard which was the best!

My brother who showed me this place and I am really thankful to him. They have two seatings if you want AC or with family then you can go upwards. <br/ There isn 't anything special about the interior but when it comes to food they will win your heart. We ordered chicken gravy and chicken fried rice both were good. <br/ <br/ After a few weeks, I and my friend wanted to go for non-veg food so we came back to this place. I didn 't remember what I ordered last time so we ordered Chicken tikka masala papad for the starter. In the main course, we ordered the Sagar Special along with Buttermilk. <br/ <br/ We got the starters and were already pleased by it but the main item is still to come. Finally, the main dish 'Sagar Special ' was served and by looking itself I was super excited to try as it comes with two gravy red and green. We had the first bite and man I can 't define the taste in words. Both gravies were good in the taste but I liked the green one more. The chicken was properly cooked and the taste was outstanding. Even though I wasn 't expecting much their buttermilk also amazed me. We both were totally satisfied by the taste and quantity of the items and couldn 't ask for more.<br/ <br/ After this, I took many of my friend who wanted to try the chicken and they all are thanking me till date. If you are visiting this place I highly recommend to try Sagar Special and you can thank me later. <br/ <br/ At last, I would say when there is a chicken in mind my heart says, 'Sagar '.
