Food is average, but the prices for drinks and food are great

We went to the Advent buffet on Sunday. The ambience is really nice, But for 35 € the buffet is simply too expensive, the price-performance ratio is not right at all.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Service perfect and friendly. Food is very tasty. We had beef medallions with vegetables and rosemary potatoes, veal medallions with rosemary potatoes and vegetables, spagetti carbonara, ice cream tartufo and beef carpaccio.. Everything was excellent.. Can definitely recommend the restaurant..

After 2 years we were back in Eiche for a New Year's Eve (2022) celebration. Entry was €95, as before. It used to be all inclusive, but now it's just a buffet. The buffet became very clear relatively quickly; the previous owner had previously added more. Not only was the quantity inadequate, the quality was also just average. The spaghetti lacked spices and the meatballs had the consistency of small golf balls. At midnight there wasn't even a pancake for all the guests. The price-performance ratio was in no way correct, it was definitely overpriced.

We already knew the restaurant from its “old” location in Friedrichsfelde Ost. We were very disappointed when we visited last Saturday. Service was careless/uninterested, the food was not of the known, expected quality, spaghetti was bland, the goose leg had visibly been warmed up for the umpteenth time and was correspondingly dry. The price/performance ratio is not right at all. Too bad.....
