BEST Korean BBQ on OAhu worth the wait for a reason.

Super yummy and reasonably priced. The woman at the front was helpful and very kind when I asked questions about the menu. Would recommend. Sadly no seating, take out only.

I absolutely love this place! I always get the Meat Jun Plate side order Fried Mandoo, which is just right for 2 meals. Mandoo is pretty typical for real Korean food, which I love! Their Meat Jun though, is by far, THE BEST YOU WILL FIND ANYWHERE IN HAWAII! While it comes with a sauce, it really isn't needed. If I had things my way, I would eat here at least once a week! While I have not eaten at every Korean Restaurant in Hawaii, when you find what seems like perfection, why try or look for anywhere else? Kid-friendliness: Aunty, who is really the face of the business is as sweet as can be. She loves to talk story with her customers.

Friendly service is non existent here. The only thing I can eat from here is the bbq chicken. Don’t like anything else they serve.

So let’s start with the positives. The Meat Jun is unique to Hawaii. Yes it’s a Korean restaurant but you won’t find it else where. The dish is beef, battered and deep fried with a dipping sauce. This is another hidden gem on Oahu. Locals know and love this place! The negative is there’s no dine in. : But you can find plenty of parks to eat at. If you’re in town, stop by! This place may not be there for much longer…
