Aiken Fish House And Oyster

I enjoyed the fish, shrimps and grottos! That was a great place for lunch. I will definitely visit again!

I happened to be in the area and did a quick search for dinner for the family. This spot popped up and I decided to try it. I'm so glad that it did because the food was EXCELLENT!!!! I was expecting a mediocre meal, but to my surprise EVERYTHING was delicious! I like fish, but I don't love it. I loved everything that I ordered as did my family! The portions were good, the seasoning was correct, and the price was appropriate! If you are in thr area and looking for a great meal, I highly recommend that you eat here! You will not be disappointed!!! I can't wait to go back!!!!

Our dinner entrees (4 of us) were very plentiful and above average in the preparation and taste as seafood goes. We were surprised however when our calamari appetizer was prepared with banana peppers attached. We didn't care for the combination and the menu did not mention the odd addition. Prices were as expected. Aubrey was very attentive and very friendly. When in town I would eat here again.

Traveled here from Augusta to check it out.. took about 15 mins for anyone to take our drink order after sitting down. Was very attentive after getting our drink order in. Clam chowder was great. Hush puppies were so good. Decent atmosphere of a oyster bar. Didn't care too much for the Mac and cheese was a little dry. Raspberry cheesecake was amazing...what I thought was whip cream was actually a marshmallow whip so amazing.

Food was pretty good, service was nice, restaurant was clean, decor was simple but tasteful. So, why only 3 stars... main reason is because I felt portions were really small for price. Also, several of the standard menu items were not available; now I understand not having everything but when you do not have 3 standard menu items available their is an issue. But overall a decent place.
