60's Diner - AIREYS INLET

This is a must to stop in at! Great food, great service and great atmosphere! Didn't want to leave! Will be finding a reason to come back here again soon!

The best place ever. Go there, dance in your seat. Such good music, amazing staff and tops food. They let us swap tables about 5 times just for fun, turned up the tunes for us and were super friendly. Amazing.

Back in time.... Upstairs... Great place to reminisce! Nice burgers. I had the special hamburger a nothing over the top in flavours, but nice size beef patty with guacamole, cheese, mustard, Mayo, lettuce, bacon and the classic cheese burger, again, good size party with tomatoe, lettuce, mustard, tomatoe sauce and cheese. Burgers were not too fatty which was nice. My only disappointing thing is that they didn 't have any root beer which would have complimented the meal! For kids, the chicken fillets were thoroughly enjoyed and the bonus is that they were served in a cardboard 'classic ' car that you can keep. Btw... Get the onion rings... They were devoured in seconds ! The classic car collection was a bonus, but we were only able to view it from the closed glass doors as it wasn 't open on a Tue afternoon around 1pm. The waitress 'Red Betty ' was awesome and couldn 't do enough for us... Even when they had run out of their famous 'Blooming Onion ' a whole onion cut into wedges to depict a flower, battered and fried, asked if 'Tex ' the chef could do one for us and he was happy to oblige. So overall, the service was great and food came out in reasonable time. We 'll definitely be back.

Awful experience. We didn't have a booking but were told we could order from the menu and then eat at the malt shop downstairs. But after we were told that meals would take 40 mins we took our chance with the malt shop menu. What a mistake! Even though everything is pre-cooked our meals took nearly an hour to arrive. Food was awful. Chilli dog was cold and tasteless. (sausage was tough as old boots). Pides were ordinary. Service was abysmal.

The best diner experience! We had a fantastic time at the upstairs diner, where we enjoyed an amazing breakfast. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere truly took us back to the fabulous 1950s! There was so much to see and appreciate. The restrooms were stunning, and everything was impeccably clean. We loved our visit and will definitely be back!
