Epic - Airway Heights

Got some takeout to bring to my room while I stayed at the hotel. Got the salmon cesar salad and the buffalo cauliflower dip. The salad was extremely good, they included plenty of dressing and the salmon was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. TheCauliflower dip wasn’t very good but I feel like that was my own fault, the bread included was good.

I went to Epic after a night playing in the casino. The food was delicious but the service was the star. Joy our server was amazing! Not only was Joy working our section, she was taking care of the whole bar on a busy Friday night. Food and drinks delivered quickly efficient service. She was so friendly and the biggest smile. What a great visit.

Each of the last few times we have been sat in the bar and we have encountered awful service. If you have the choice to sit outside of the bar, do it. The servers seem to be much more attentive.Our last trip here we unfortunately were sat in the bar. Our waitress took our food order and we told her we needed a few minutes to decide on what drinks we wanted. She never came back, until giving us our final bill. Had she come back, we likely would’ve ordered multiple drinks. Guess Epic doesn’t like making more money. The restaurant was certainly not busy.My food order arrived completely messed up. I ordered the cheeseburger tatar tot casserole off their specials menu. It arrived with ZERO hamburger on it, just tots, mustard and pickles. Not once where we checked on by our waitress, so I could not point out how my dish was missing the most obvious ingredient. When she gave us our bill she noticed I had barely eaten any of the dish. I mentioned how the hamburger was missing and she offered to have the kitchen make a new one. I had zero desire to be in the restaurant any longer due to the atrocious service, so I declined.The standards here appeared to have dropped dramatically over the last several years. We used to enjoy coming here, but no longer.

We are staying at the resort for a few nights. We decided to come here our first night for dinner. We were seated quickly but took a while for someone to come and ask if we wanted anything to drink. The staff looked miserable. By the time she came around, we ordered our drinks and some nachos. Took over 15 minutes to get our drinks (a beer and a hard shake). The shake I got tasted delicious. When the nachos came, the guy let go of the plate before it was placed on the table, crashing into the plates that were there. Nachos were ok, we felt they were tight with the cheese. We finished the nachos and my fiancé still had beer in his glass when we were brought the tab and told she would be back to pick it up. Didn’t even ask us if we wanted another drink. Overall experience wasn’t great.

So we met at Epic to have dinner with my in laws. Was a bit of a wait but it is SO WORTH IT!! I got the Cobb Salad, absolutely yummy and just perfect for me right now being pregnant... My husband got the Gutbuster Burger and he completely demolished it!my youngest got the kids burger bite things and just plowed through it. my oldest got the prime rib dip and he is already asking to go back. My father in law got the shrimp scampi and loved it. My mother in law got steak tips and loved it as well!! Our waiter was amazing and friendly even with as busy was it was!!! This is a place i will be going back to!!
