L'Ardoise - Ajaccio

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in ajaccio, simply because both eating and service were so good for the first time. the second visit was just as great, the staff is really friendly, the service attentive and fast and eating fresh and tasteful. we even got a free wine cooler from the waiter, just because we asked where we could buy a similar one as those they used in the restaurant. a total affordable and pleasant experience both paints. highly recommended.

Excellent bark carpaccio, cold cuts, ravioli filled with local cheese, cheese, organic wines, and amazing eau de vie. excellent service, almost as good as da mamma and u tavonu.

We chose this restaurant as we walked along the harbour front because the clientele didn't look like they were form one of the ubiquitous cruise ships that csat their shadow over Ajaccio. We had reasonable low expectations, but these evaporated almost immediately as the friendly...and professional staff started to give us the best service we received in Corsica.. We both ordered moules and were thoroughly impressed by the quality and the portion was magnifique! The cream suace that I ordered was without the best that I have had it turned my lunch into a truly memorable occassion. The wine list was simple and focused mainly on Corsican wines. We took the owner's advice and ordered a bottle of Domaine Gentile, Patrimonio Blanc. It was the perfect accompanyment and well worth the Euro Great pleace, great staff and fabuluous mussels!

Restaurant un peu à l'écart du centre touristique, qui nous a permis de déjeuner de façon agréable (pas trop de bruits) : la cuisine est maîtrisée et de qualité pour un prix raisonnable. Le service est sympathique. Allez-y !

Trés trés bien. Accueil trés simpa, cuisine trés bonne. Bel établissement et l'équipe est super sympathique.
