Bidra med feedbackI tried a lemon pastry, but as soon as I took a bite, I felt uneasy about eating it, so I stopped. The following week, I visited their Ajax location and asked which items were vegan. The staff informed me that all were vegan except for one or two items, one of which was the lemon pastry. I explained to them that I had been told at the other location that it was vegan and found it frustrating to have to double-check. When I brought this up with the owner, he didn’t respond, simply making a pouring gesture with his hands as if to say nothing. I decided to give the place another try a year later after hearing from someone else that all the baked goods were now definitely vegan. I was served by the owner's daughter this time, and she was very friendly and helpful. I might return again, but it really depends on who is working that day. I also inquired about the freshness of the baked goods. Since I haven't been there since 2019, I can’t comment on the current situation.
This bakery is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I went there on Tuesday morning right when they opened to grab breakfast, but was told I could only pick it up at 3:00 PM.
Please confirm their account to post their review 4/16/2020 I have been going into this bakery for some time, so I think I would be considered a regular customer. it is the only gluten-free, milk-free, granular free bakery local and although for the largest part I have always enjoyed the food that the customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth. with 3 successful local businesses myself I received a very smart piece of advice that began as an entrepreneur before many mondens and that was that they never know who they speak, so treat each customer as they are gold. my family all work in the health field so that this bakery has the potential to get many recommendations from us, but the way they are treated by the time they are in the door to the time they go, is how they do not care that they are a paying customer, it is like their only a different number. here is a prime example. they're just picking orders for covid now. their opening times are 10 o'clock. I called before and set my order. I was told it would be a 15-minute waiting period as they have commanded previous ones and they do not want groups to stand at their door to pick up. I put the order on her parking lot and at 10:20 went to the door. at which time they opened the door and said next time we should call when we are there. to no time during our waiting someone has picked up something. we were certainly not a priority and have left ourselves with the feeling that we do not play a role. I can say that all that it would take is such an opening in the opposite and on the basis of the same kind of reviews I have read to let myself know that I am not alone, I would be there in a second.
Amazing little place. A bit off the beaten path but well worth it. The desserts were amazing and all vegan and gluten free. Would live here if I could!
Honestly I didn’t really like anything that I ate here. I still want to try crepes but out of the desserts that I shared with my family none of us really like any of them. But in all fairness this is our first gluten free experience. Might change later on when I eat more gluten free stuff. Cause right now I have nothing to compare it with
