Live jazz music AND kid-friendly, what else could you ask for!? Love this place so much our family went there two evenings in a row. Master arigatou!

Simply incredible. Yuli san and Tatsuya san are the loveliest people and the most gracious hosts one could hope for. The inn is charming in every way: the room is spacious and comfortable, the bath is a treat and the jazz music playing in the background sets a cozy a relaxed mood. We were lucky to be there on a Sunday and see a live session, an unexpected, strange and wonderful experience in rural Tohoku. Tatsuya san will gladly pick you up and drive to the bus station at Tazawakohan when you arrive and for any day trips you'd like to take (mount Akita Komagatake is highly reccommended! . We also borrowed bicycles and spent a day riding around the lake which was marvellous. Yuli san's food was incredible, and kept surprising and delighting us. Highly reccommended!

We had a wonderful stay here a few years ago. Very warm and friendly owners, bikes for rent to do a lap of the lake. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel (or hostel? with a nice Japanese couple as a host. It sits in a Woods along the lakeside. The place is well maintained and cleaned. Some room has no private bath and toilets, you have to share with neighbors on the same floors. The room is big and can sleep 4 5 people comfortably. Dinner and breakfast sets are well prepared fresh, healthy and delicious. (Though you cnanot choose the menu but rest assured that the host will prepare the best for you. There is also a public (with private booking system.... so it' s litterally for people in your room only bath (onsen. The overall atmosphere is relaxed, cosy and a bit jazzy.

The rooms and hosts are really nice. There's great jazz music playing in the background the whole time. Unfortunately didn't see one of the live gigs on the weekends. Would be excellent if the food wasn't that expensive and the portions were a little bigger
