Giovanni's Pizza Pasta - Akron

I tried Giovanni's again tonight and ordered the chicken parmesan family meal! Once again, it was delicious! I'm really curious about the salad dressings they use—the Italian and balsamic ones make all the salad disappear!

During my long wait in the emergency department yesterday, I started to feel hungry, so I ordered the penne a la vodka with chicken. It was, without a doubt, the best sauce I've ever tasted in my life. The portion was enormous—I had enough leftovers for three meals! To say I was impressed would be an understatement; I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I have been traveling by this location for more than a year. I decided that I needed to finally stop and try their food. I had the fish sandwich, and a Sam Adam's Octoberfest beer. The food was delicious. The barmate explained that all of the food is good here. She said the Chille is to die for. I had Chille for lunch, else I would have tried it. The place inside is very nice. They have a specialty area upstairs for craft beers, and looks really nice. I recommend coming here. I plan on trying lunch out next time, or making this my perm spot when traveling to work to stop by for a early dinne

It seems that the grilled chicken sub isn't their strong suit. The bread was incredibly thick and so hard that it felt like you could break a tooth on it.

Well I'd previously give this place 5 stars but I hadn't ordered from there in about 3 months n something def changed. The large pizza was smaller for $16.. crust was off, way thinner than before.. just disappointed. Sad to report it moved down on my pizza rank
