Honeymoon Grille - Akron

I've been coming to the place frequently over the last few years. I've held a few business meetings here and even had a birthday brunch a few years back. My last 3 visits have not been so pleasant. I'm not sure why it's changed so much, but today my food came out pretty cold, just like it did the last time. My guest asked for their food to be returned and brought back out fresh because it wasn't warm enough. I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that they now serve half slices of bacon. The pieces used to be larger and worth the buy, now they're serving half slices and it's disheartening. Our waitress seemed to be tired or something. She didn't seem too happy to serve us like she normally is in the past. It was also uncomfortably cold. It's the middle of fall and the a/c is in full blast. I hate to say it, but this will be my last time eating here.

I was an employee there from March, until recently, and my slogan for the place is, Welcome to Honeymoon, home of the Bullies! Management practices strict favoritism and there was not a day I didn 't go into work when I wasn 't completely deflated by the mean spirited and lazy workers bashing other employees and the owners, alike. Constant complaining about the customers too even though it 's an establishment specializing in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I reached out to the managers and owners about the bad situations and was told to deal with it. If you want to have a steady income and work in a non-toxic environment, do not apply at Honeymoon Grille. If you want to work in total chaos with mean folks who don 't care about much of anything, go for it!
