Bidra med feedbackHad a grilled chicken tender sandwich. It wasn't anything special. Not much seasoning, fries were feozen and not fresh cut. Typical cafeteria type food. The food was ok, nothing to
Wonderful food and service! Highly recommend if you are searching for soul food to comfort and vrighten your day.
The food was absolutely amazing. They were able to accommodate a large party unexpectedly.
The restruan's article in beacon showed a above average place to dine. We went on a friday nite at 7.00 pm when the hours say its open till 9pm. The entrance to it has 2 high steps so high my wife needed to have help getting thru the door or risk a fall. Once inside the waiter sad the kitchen closes at 7;15 when they advetrise 9 pm closing. It was 7.05 and right off the bat I felt like we were being warned not to stay. My wife had the 2 pc chicken. It was as big as a pidgeon's breast . The liver I had were good but too much breading for my taste. The place was more on the dark atmosphere. We learned they close the kitchen down so the owner can fry up food for his other place kin canton ohio. Don't waste your money. Don ponchos in green has better food , good service at affordable prices and dosen't shut down at 7;15 on a Friday noight
My friends introduced us to this wonderful place. I was pleased to be able to enjoy all my favorite veggies meat free. My husband's fried fish sandwich was humongous and delicious. My only problem was the toddler size cornbread that we had to request.Vegetarian options: The greens and black-eyed peas are meat free.Dietary restrictions: Because the food is cooked on tbe spot, I believe the chef can make reasonable accommodations.
