Pavona's Pizza Joint - Akron

Got pizza Saturday and it was good. Expensive but good. Well now their phone number doesn?t work. I?ll update the star rating when they pay their phone bill.

$0.20 added to ea $5 special and they added 4% to the bill for taxes but actually a credit card fee before you pay so you 're paying a credit card fee even if you pay cash super shady. The waitress never came back after she gave us our pizza and my pizzacame out messed up. The dough formed a huge bubble so there was nothing on 2 of the 4 pieces. The pizza was just ok. The winewas not good. I tried the house blend white and house blend red. The red was terrible

Authentic flavor without overpowering sauces. I tried the Diablo pizza with added chicken. I loved the hot and savory sauce and the pizza was loaded with jalapenos. This might not be appropriate for people who cannot eat hot dishes. The pizza place issmall and cozy. Might get crowded at weekends and night because of the pub inside. The only con I felt is you need to be doublesure of the prices. When I wanted to add chicken to the pizza, the server mentioned the cost which was less than the menu. Butthe cheque had the price of the menu.

Not a bad little place?classic pepperoni pizza runs $20 and it?s pretty good. Nice layout inside, lots of great wood, plenty of outdoor dining and full bar as well. Decor is kind of aggressive honestly. Overall, cool little place, if not a little pricey.

Best pizza in town, perhaps. I ordered the Margherita and Caprese pizzas and it was delicious. Hanging out at the bar, taking in the ambience, watching them make pizzas while having a drink was a fun alternative to staring at the grease stains on the dropceiling of other pizza shops.
