The Tea Lady - Akron

This was my third visit to The Tea Lady, and each one has been a delightful experience. I love bringing special women in my life here to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other meaningful occasions, and my guests are always impressed by what the restaurant offers. The table service, the food, and the atmosphere all evoke a sense of elegance from a bygone era. The portions are generous and the food truly delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit in the spring to celebrate my best friend's birthday!

We decided to visit The Tea Lady for the first time while we were in town to see our mom. We were expecting a tea room where we could order a variety of dishes at reasonable prices. However, at The Tea Lady, the menu was fixed and included tea, fruit, scones, sandwiches, and dessert, leaving us with only our choice of tea. While the food was decent, it didn't justify the price of $44.60 per person. Additionally, the staff was quite particular, which detracted from a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the experience was average, and we likely won't be coming back.

I had a fantastic time celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday! The tea, the food, and the atmosphere were all charming. The Tea Lady is truly exceptional! I can't wait to come back.
