My friends and I are always in search of the best Wor Won Ton soup at every Chinese restaurant we visit. After six years of searching in the Bay Area, we have decided that Xing Yuan is the best we’ve found so far. Their other dishes are quite impressive as well; however, I thought the lo mein (thick, soft noodles) was a bit bland for my taste. A dash of hot sauce and soy sauce fixed that problem easily. I recommend trying their lunch specials, as they are reasonably priced.
The honey walnut prawns, sweet and sour fish, combination fried rice, hot and sour soup, and mixed vegetables are all truly exceptional!
This is my to go spot for lunch. They make it fast. They make it good and the noodle option is a treat, instead of rice. Had wonton soup today. Lots of wonton inside and the soup was very savory. It was perfect for a rainy day. Also, it is a good low carb option.
The food is actually pretty good. Beware when you order the Thai tea, it's not what you expect.
