Zen Alameda

Many attempts at fusion cuisine often miss the mark, but this one is an outstanding success. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

We had an amazing experience celebrating our niece's 16th birthday dinner with her and 14 of her friends. Tiffany and her team were exceptional, providing attentive service and fabulous food. Most of our guests were new to Zen, making it a perfect introduction to the restaurant. A few parents joined us for dinner as well, and they also had glowing reviews, so both teens and parents were thrilled. We can't wait to return!

Great place for brunch! The portion sizes are on the smaller side, ranging from small to medium.

Family run business with Japanese/Asian/California fusion food. Always some tasty daily specials at great prices. Small plates make a great meal, so much so that only on last visit (3rd), did I turn over the menu to realize there's a whole lot more!

If you love food with an Asian fusion flare, Zen is the place. It's located off Park Blvd but is very easy to find and parking is not a problem. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful. We have never had a dish that we didn't love, our favorite dishes are pork belly sushi and the Asian fries. Can't wait to get back.
