Bidra med feedbackGreat food and friendly service. This was our first visit but we will be back. My only complaint is that when the bill arrived it didn't have the total and was missing an item.
The meal was great. Absolutely 5 stars for the food. Hands down the best tomato sauce I've had in a long long time. The service was great. They have gluten free pasta for all their dishes which was a pleasant surprise. My reason for only 4 stars was thatwe were told at the end that the wifi was down and they couldn't take credit cards. Then they wanted to write down the cardinformation and run it later. Then they wouldn't take a check. We had to go to the ATM down the street to pay the bill. I feellike this should have been made very clear by the hostess before we were seated.
I recently came across a review from a woman criticizing the restaurant for its poor service, specifically for not having mayonnaise on the menu. It made me laugh! Anyway, I just wanted to share that my family has been regulars here for at least eight years, and the food and staff just keep getting better in terms of flavor, quality, and respect. While you may not have a customer loyalty program, our family values the tradition of excellent service and great food. From my family to yours, thank you for your hard work and dedication in making your restaurant a favorite for us and many others. We truly appreciate you and love this place!
The food was excellent, as always. I ordered the pasta combo, which included lasagna, rigatoni, and cannelloni. It was very rich and filling, and I had plenty of leftovers. Typically, tomato sauce doesn't sit well with me, but I didn’t experience any heartburn hours later, which was impressive. The rolls were fresh out of the oven and incredibly fluffy. Dipping them in garlic and olive oil was simply heavenly!
As our food began to arrive, we noticed that the chicken Alfredo never came, and the waitstaff never checked on us or refilled our drinks. The chicken soup appeared to be nothing more than green liquid with chunks of chicken, and honestly, it smelled like a dirty diaper. The Stromboli was overwhelmingly salty, and we’ve had better pizza from a box at Walmart. After waiting 30 minutes for the waitress, she finally came to tell us that we were missing a meal. She claimed she got confused about our order of chicken soup and Alfredo, which left us baffled. She said she would have the kitchen prepare the Alfredo, but it would take at least another 20 minutes. We opted to cancel it since the rest of the table had either finished their meals or not eaten theirs at all (the soup was tasted and promptly spat out because it was so bad). Then, we waited an eternity for our checks. When the waitress finally brought them, we immediately handed her our cards. We watched her lean against the bar for 15 minutes before she returned with our cards. We asked for a to-go box for the Stromboli so that the person who didn't have a decent meal could at least take something home, and she brought back a ridiculously tiny box that required us to fold and squish the food just to fit it inside. We will definitely not be returning to this place. We had trusted the 4.5-star rating and were excited for a double date night, but it was completely ruined by terrible food and awful service.
