Vault 244 Bistro | Lounge - Albany

Came here with some friends from Seattle. What great time was had our server was amazing. He was honest and fun and took great care of us. The food was outstanding. We all shared pretty much the whole small plate menu, all four of us agree that everything we eat was great. and a few bottles of wine made for a great meal. The place is clean and cute. Probably the best food I have had in Albany. So if you're looking upscale food in town this would be my recommendation. Can't wait to come back and try the pork chop porter house.

Went here for a birthday dinner with my boyfriend. We arrived early for our reservation ~5 minutes) and were still sat immediately. Our server, Alex, was incredibly attentive and had a very pleasant attitude. Ordered the pomme frite for an appetizer and it was delicious. For my entree, I got the salmon and my boyfriend got the prime rib. Both meats were cooked to perfection. I am obsessed with the fennel slaw that came with the salmon. Overall, a cozy, high end restaurant with incredible upscale fare.

In a restaurant called The Vault 244 , We spent two hundred dollars, and then came the war. The waiter, with a stern face, Told us to vacate our table, no space! He said, I have another party waiting, You 've had your time, no more debating. But it took so long to get our meal, It wasn 't our fault, this ordeal. The ambiance was nice, the food exquisite, But being rushed out left us quite miffed. We paid our bill and left the place, Feeling disappointed, with a bitter taste. In a restaurant called The Vault 244 , We felt rushed and pushed out the door. Despite the delicious feast we had, The experience left us feeling sad.

This place has so much potential and the menu looks great. However, the management is ineffective. The staff is in a constant state of crisis. We waited for 20min for our drinks and when they came they were the wrong drinks. I felt sorry for the wait staff, they were hustling. But, their system was broken. There is a reason why they had open tables and sweet red had no openings.

Ambiences amazing, Location in down town is super cute and adorable Cocktails are great (manhattans) Service amazing (thank you Leah) My beat salad amazing. Pasta to thick to rich to cheesy I can make a dish at home way better than this. Dessert bread pudding not available ugggg as that was all I was desiring on their dessert menue. thus asked for a port and the bar was all out of port wine. Ugggg Ok. Great spot but expect let downs.
