Great food, great stop! Went for a family dinner. I had the broiled flounder, very tasty. My wife had salt and pepper catfish, also yummy! Excellent, friendly service at a Stanly County institution. Be advised- restaurant is cash only!

The salt and pepper catfish filets are worth driving here from out of town. Fried pickles are great for a starter. The family atmosphere of the servers makes everyone feel at home.

By far the friendliest staff, the nostalgia of the old school fish camp atmosphere brings back fond memories of simpler times, like a breath of fresh air in this rat race of a world we live in. Not once been disappointed with quality, or portion sizes of food. And then there is Sheila who just radiates a good vibe and always ensures amazing accommodation to her customers and lets not forget Mrs. Lisa who never fails to greet each customer with a smile and the most pleasant attitude. All around a wonderful restaurant.

Excellent food and service the flounder is fried in cornmeal and the hush puppies are handmade, delicious.
